We conduct research and development for high-rise, zero-energy, low-carbon housing and apply these technologies. The Department of Architectural Engineering aims to teach advanced theory and site-level technology of reasonable manufacturing techniques, such as complex construction technology, IT based technology, robot construction technology, mechanized construction technology, recycling of construction waste, and construction take down technology to enhance international competitiveness.

By educating students in the areas of efficiency and quality improvement of housing, material and method of construction, construction management, maintenance/reinforcement technology of structure and basic technology of structural, civil, soil field for stability of structure and the ground, this course of study will cultivate professional engineers of residential buildings who can deal with changing construction issues.
